Let's Begin with an Evaluation

An evaluation will assess your child's skills in the areas of concern. Evaluations may take 1.5-2 hours and typically include:

  • Review of medical and/or academic history

  • Patient or parent interview

  • Observations

  • Interactions with your child during targeting activities

  • Standardized testing when possible

At the end of the evaluation session, we will make therapy recommendations and form a treatment plan with your family. We will also provide a written report of our findings.

The Therapy Station Approach to Individualized Therapy

At The Therapy Station, pediatric therapy sessions are conducted one-on-one with an experienced speech, occupational, or physical therapist.

Our sessions are 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Frequency is determined in collaboration of the clinical expertise of our team and input from the patient's family. We know that finding a balance of what works for the family's schedule and consistent therapy is necessary for success!

Our approach combines family education, a focus on understanding each child's unique strengths and challenges, and the use of professional, evidence-based strategies to ensure therapy is both effective and enjoyable. We believe that practicing the right skills regularly leads to success!
